Krew's Birthday 2010

Being so patient
Blowing out the candle
Krew's Spiderman Cake

Nana King and Krew

Krew still loves spiderman so we had another spiderman birthday for him this year. Grandma and Grandpa King, Aunt Wendy and Darci, and Aunt Dona and Scott came. Krew was so excited for his party and cake, he asked all day if he could see his cake so I would get it out and then he would just look at it. We had to do it at night because everyone was busy until them and Krew was so patient. Kris was working until 3pm but the boys he works with had to volunteer at the special olympics rodeo so Krew and I met them there. Well it happened to be someone elses birthday and so the they sang happy birthday on the speakers. When they started singing Krew's eyes got big and he turned to me and said "Mom they're singing happy birtday to me!"

He was so excited to start coloring
He was taking it very serious

The finished product
And he was bummed we were done

Krew loved coloring the easter eggs. He asked almost everyday for the next week if we could color more eggs. It was fun even though it was just the two of us, Kris had to work.

Ari's LCH Relapse

On sunday I went up to visit my niece at Primary Children's Hospital. As you can see she is not doing so well. She is back in Primary Children's, they have decided to give her the highest dose of chemo they can in hopes that it will help but they say it is not looking too promising. Her face is so puffy and her stomach is bulging because all of her organs are swollen. Even with the pain medication she is in constant pain. My brother and sister in law are such great examples, they have done an amazing job keeping their spirits high for her and the rest of their kids. We love you guys so much and thank you for your great examples to everyone. Our prayers are with you.

Christmas Eve

Getting ready to read the Christmas Story
Krew and his Lola pajamas

Dad and Brian opening their new pajamas
Brian and Dad in their new pajamas

Every Christmas Eve we read a version of the Christmas Story then we get to open a present. Of course we always know the present is a pair of pajamas but we still get excited to see what kind of pajamas we get. This year Krew was excited about his because they were Lola pajamas. Our friends have a bulldog named lola and Krew loves to wrestle with her.

Building a Snowman

For days Krew had been asking me to build a snowman with him and I kept putting it off, telling him we would later. On sunday he asked me again so I started feeling bad and told him we would after church. So after church we got dressed in our snow clothes and went outside to build a snowman. This is the help I got from him, he didn't even make it to the snow. He said he was tired and wanted to sit in the chair. He was out as soon as he sat down. Of course as soon as he woke up he asked where the snowman was, thank goodness I built it.

Thanksgiving 2009

Bobbi, Kim, Steve Hart, Renae Hart, and Allison Hart
Averi and Bri Frampton having fun riding around grandma and grandpa's house on Krew's tricycle.

Just visiting after dinner
Krew was exhausted from all the playing
We were all looking through the black friday ads to see if there was anything worth fighting the crowds. We didn't seem to think so. We did go up and got some things but nothing worth getting up early and standing in line.
