Northwest Trek

We finally made it to the Northwest Trek. It's basically an open roaming zoo. It is on over 700 acres and are kept in their natural habitats. We saw Bisan, Elk, Mountain goats, Bobcat, Grizzley Bears, Black Bears, and a few others. Krew had a blast.

4th of July

Our usually routine for the 4th of July every year is:

1. Get woke up before I want to by the cannons being shot off in the morning

2. Hurry and get ready to go to the parade because it's 10:25 and the parade starts at 10:30

3. Get to the parade and sit in the hot sun for 45 min before the parade starts because it never ever starts on time.

4. Enjoy the small town parade

5. Linger at mom and dads while everyone plays outdoor games and gets ready for the evenings bbq

6. Have a delicious bbq

7. Watch Bro. Slack set off fireworks with his grandkids

8. Finally gather in the backyard with blankets and chairs to watch the fireworks!

Well thats not at all how it was this year but we still had fun. We are in Washington this year and this is how it went

1. got up about 10:00 had breakfast

2. hung out with Krew just like any other day while Kris was at work

3. Kris got home we had put on a small bbq at our place and had a few guys he works with come over and then Kris lit some small fireworks with Krew.

4. THE Best part Fireworks that went on all around us for at least 2 hours. We had about 5 firework show we got to watch at once because they are legal here so everyone lights the huge ones at home. It was pretty awesome.

So even though this year was as eventful as it usually is we had fun celebrating the holiday with our small family and Krew had a blast.

Time to Shave

I left Krew in the tub to play with his toys and when I came back to check on him he had Kris' shaving cream all over him and my razor. Luckily he was shaving with the back side of the razor.

Happy Father's Day

Thank you Kris for being such a great father! You have created a wonderful relationship with Krew. He loves to run outside and tell you bye when you leave for work and then gets so excited when he hears you come home, he loves following you around and helping you fix things or put your tools away, AND his FAVORITE thing to do with you is of course fighting and wrestling. We love you and are grateful for everything you do for us.

A Park in Tacoma

Yesterday after church Kris wanted to show us this park he found in Tacoma. It was so pretty. I thought Utah had pretty parks but they are nothing like the ones out here. It had a huge pond with tons of ducks, gorgeous flower pushes and trees everywhere, waterfalls, lots of grass, and the regulare playground. Krew of course had a blast chasing and feeding the ducks.

Krew was riding this all over the house saying " Wee my orse, wee" and of course he had his best friend in the back with him (his alaskan bear Vicki gave him). He takes his "baby" to bed with him every night. This was the night before he got his cast off. We are so excited to finally have it off. Yeah! He actually quickly adjusted back to walking normal.
