Krew and Shiner

Krew chilling with Shiner (grandma mimi's dog)
Krew fishing in Grandma's pond
He decided he needed a rest again.
Trying to get Shiner to come over to the pond
Krew was enjoying some of the last hot days in september. He was having a blast playing with grandma's dog and running around outside with no clothes. He hates to have any clothes on if we are at home.

Arianna's Update

About 2 months ago my niece ( Travis and Haleys's youngest) started drinking a bunch of water at night, I'm talking 1-2 liter just durning sleeping hours. She would wake up several times during the night asking for water. This was obviously a concern since she was only 18 months old, so they took her into the doctors and they couldn't find anything wrong. They then decided she needed to fast for 8 hours so they could run some test. After the fast everything spiraled down hill, she wouldn't eat anything, she was very lathargic, and the only thing she wanted was her water. After many trips to the doctors and blood test they only anwser they got was " she must just be malnurished, make sure you give her formula and limit the water intake." Well they did not understand how that could of happened but they of course went a head and took the doctor advice and tried their best to get nutrients into her system. She wasn't getting any better and she ended up with a 105 degree tempature and she had needle point blood rashes all over her body. Once again they took her into the doctors. They did some more blood tests and looked at the rashes and that's when they got very concerned. They thought she might have lukemia and so they sent her immediately up to Primary Children's Hospital. She has been here for 4 days now. After lots of blood work, an MRI, a CAT scan, full body xrays, and a bi opsi the doctors have diagnosed her with LCH. It is a cancer like disease that can be very fatal. It is a lot like lukemia but it destroy's the body a lot faster. It has already attacked every organ in her body except her heart. They say once it gets to the heart there's not anything you can do but try to make her comfortable. Her liver and spleen are enlarged, her lungs fill up with water, and she is in constant pain. Last night her she stopped breathing twice and her blood plate count dropped down to 8 and it is supposed to be at 150 so they had to do an emergency blood transfusion and transfered her to ICU where she had to start chemotherapy immediately. And now we are just waiting to see if her body take to the chemo.

It just breaks my heart to see her have to go through all of this but she has been such a fighter. Everytime a nurse comes in to take her blood she gives a little whine to let you know she doesn't like it but then holds her arm out so brave. It is times like this that really make me grateful for the gospel and that I know there is a plan and purpose for everyone and that there is more to life than just this earth. Thank you everyone for all of your prayers, we will continue to pray for her and hope for the best.
