King Christmas Party

Krew got a Dance Cam from great grandpa King.

I think this was Creed's that Krew decided he wanted to ride all night. And no I don't dress Krew in pink shoes, he took one of the girls shoes.

We went to Fayette for the King christmas party on Saturday. Everyone had so much fun. Krew loved having so many other kids around to play with. Some of the games got a little wild, I came home with a couple of bruises on my leg from " do you love your neighbor ". Who knew that was such a violent game.

Krew is just like his dad

Yesterday we were all in the living room, I was on the computer, Kris was watching tv and Krew was in between us laying on the floor playing with two cars. All of a sudden Krew started whinning so I looked down to see what was wrong and everything seemed fine. He continued to whine so I looked again and asked what's the matter. Both cars were flipped over and he was pointing towards them. I thought my goodness can't you turn them over yourself as I was flipping them back over. Well that wasn't the problem so I looked again, this time he was scooting backwards and still pointing. That's when I noticed a little spider on the floor. Kris smashed it and Krew stood up and did his scared action. I guess he's as frightened of spiders as his dad is.

Krew and Dancing with the Stars...

I had to get a picture of this because those of you that have been around Krew know how much he loves music and dancing. I am watching Dancing with the Stars and Krew is totally intrigued by it. He has been laying there watching it and then when they start dancing he gets up and dances with them. I always tease Kris and tell him that Krews going to be a ballroom dancer instead of a wrestler.

Pumpkin Carving

Friday night Kris and Krew decided to carve one of our pumkins. Krew had a blast playing in the goo. I 'm suprised he kept everything in the bowel and didn't make a mess. We might work on the other pumpkins tonight.

Wood Cutting

Krew was playing with grandpa on his truck, riding up and down and playing with the tools.

We were back in Mt. Pleasant again this weekend. Kris went hunting friday and saturday and Krew and I hung out with mom. Late saturday afternoon when dad got into town and Kris got done hunting we met Dona and her family up the mountain to help them get the last little bit of wood. Krew of course had a blast but I think he had the most fun driving down the mountain. Dad let him sit on his lap and steer. After about the first five minutes Krew decided he didn't need dad's help and he would push dad's hands off the steerings wheel because he wanted to do it himself.

Weekend in Mt. Pleasant again

We went down to Mt. Pleasant again this weekend. Kris went and helped his parents cut wood while Krew and I hung out with mom and Brian. It was so cold we had to bundle up in our winter coats to go outside. I am not ready for the cold weather yet.
Today the sun came out so Krew got to go play with the horses. He loves petting and kissing them but he's not too thrilled with sitting on them yet. He would love living with grandma and grandpa so he could play with animals all day long.

Conference Weekend

We had such a great weekend. It was probably one of our most relaxing. We went down to Mt. Pleasant friday night. Krew and I stayed the night with mom and Kris went up Fairview Canyon with some friends to go hunting.

Me, mom, Dona, Corey, and Krew watched the Emma Smith Story. Well we tried to watch it but Krew got bored 2 minutes into it and decided to distract everyone so it was hard to hear. I wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. Mom said that's because of Krew but I disagree.

Saturday morning Dona cooked a delicious breakfast for us and we watched the first half of Conference at her house. Once again it was hard to hear because Krew was wrestling with Scott most the time. The second half we watched at mom's house. Kris got home from hunting that night soaked and muddy from the lovely rain we had.

Sunday was much like saturday... Dona cooked another great breakfast, watched the first half of conference at Dona's and then headed over to Fairview to visit Kris' family. They cooked a miniture thanksgiving dinner that was delious and then watched the last half of conference.

I love being able to go home and visit. The best part is Krew has so many other people to play with besides me so it kind of gives me a break. Not that I don't love playing with him but he is always on the go and wants me to be also. So that was our weekend.

Krew fixing the lawn mower

Yesterday Kris was going outsided to mow the lawn and of course Krew insisted on going with him. They had been outside for a while and I realized I hadn't heard the lawn mowere going so I went out to see what they were doing. This is what I found. Kris was in the shed getting some more tools and Krew was fixing the lawn mower. Don't worry Kris had already taken the blade off, he was actually getting ready to sharpen it. Krew loves playing with Kris' tools

Enjoying the last days of summer

Since summer is winding down we decided to take advantage of the nice weather. We went and picked up lunch at KFC and walk to the Duck Pond again and had little picnic. The weather was perfect. After we ate Krew played on the swings (which is his favorite) and went down the slides. It's always so hard to get him out of the swings. But the best part of the day was feeding the ducks. They came right up to us, usually they run away. They almost snatched the biscuit right out of Krew's hand. It was a very relaxing day. I love living so close to the river trail. It sure makes it fun to go walking.

Happy Birthday Krew!

It's been almost a week since Krew's 1st birthday and I am just barely getting these pictures posted. Vicki and Jaden were staying with us for the past week because Jaden was having cranial treatments done in Bountiful and so I was busy hanging out with them and didn't make time to update my blog. So anyways here are some pictures of Krew's birthday last sunday, April 27th. We didn't do much just had some family over for cake since he won't be able to remember it. The guests included Uncle Taylor and Aunt Tanya, Aunt Vicki and Jaden, Aunt Bobbi, Emyly, Averi, and Bri, and Grandma and Grandpa King and Uncle Kamron.

Fishing trip gone bad!

Well Kris got home a little early from work today so we decided to go fishing on the paddle boat since it was nice outside. So we gathered everything together and headed down to Utah Lake in dad's red truck but half way there we ran out of gas. Kris jumped out and pushed us around the corner and then went and got gas. Then we headed back home to switch to our truck. After we unloaded the paddle boat and all of the other things from one truck to the next we were head back to lake for a relaxing evening fishing. So we get to utah lake unload the paddle boat and everything else and start paddling. We paddled over to the first bouyi where we stopped so Kris could bait his fishing pole. We were only about 40 ft from shore and had been on the lake for about 5 minutes when we see a fish cop pull up next to our truck and wave us over. When we got to shore she told us we had to have life jackets and gave us a ticket. She said even if you're on a raft you have to a life jacket. So needless to say it wasn't the fishing trip we planned on.

Easter Day

We spent Easter in Mt. Pleasant this year. Kris had to go back to Provo early sunday because he had to work but Krew and I stayed until Monday. We had lots of fun playing with grandma and grandpa and everyone else that was here.

Easter

Easter

We spent easter in Mt. Pleasant. Dona made sure to leave a couple of eggs for Krew to dye but he was more interested in all the eggs that were already dyed.

Duck Pond

Last week we Kris and I took Krew on a walk down the Provo River trail to the duck pond. He loved it. But we forgot to bring bread so Krew shared his goldfish crackers with the ducks. Then we let him swing for a while. He wouldn't get out though. I stuck my arms out to get him and he just laughed and held on to the swing.
